He is the founder of the non-profit environmental festival, which is today known in its 10th edition as the Green Me Global Festival for Sustainability. The Green Me Festival is an annual film event focused on environmental issues. It was launched in 2008 and has evolved over the years from a lounge into a global film festival where films with ecologically relevant themes from all over the world are shown. Last year the Filmfestival travelled around the world, including places on four continents: Berlin, Los Angeles, Cannes, Tehran and Lagos.
